Our physiotherapist have been working in Doncaster East since 2009. The Physiotherapy demand outgrew the clinic at Doncaster East Family Medical Centre. To tailor the needs of patients, we expanded the practice and established Health Dynamix at its current location near Tunstall square in April 2012. Health Dynamix has its own Clinical Pilates Studio, numerous consulting rooms and parking on site. Health Dynamix team has five extremely qualified physiotherapists and friendly reception staff. Health Dynamix also provides Massage.
Divya Kumar
Divya is a postgraduate physiotherapist with specialization in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She has in over 15 years of experience in private practice. She has done several courses over years to further enhance her knowledge and skills. She is trained in Trigger point dry needling, Clinical Pilates and manual techniques. She is also trained in treating Jaw/ TMJ pain and conditions. Divya has worked with South Australian NFL clubs dealing with sports injuries. She also has special interest in treating lumbo-pelvic pain and headaches.
In her personal life, Divya is a wife and a mum who enjoys spending time with her family. She is passionate about dance and barracks for the saints in AFL.
Laura Carlson
Laura graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 and has worked in a variety of sports and musculoskeletal clinics. Laura uses a diverse range of treatment techniques including manual handling, soft tissue techniques, dry needling, exercise prescription and clinical Pilates. She works closely with some of the local sporting clubs such as Doncaster Football Club, Donvale Adult Riding Club and Vikings Basketball Club. Laura has a background in Basketball, Netball and Horse riding and enjoys treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
Neda Bohlooli
Neda Bohlooli has a Bachelor and Master of Physiotherapy. She is experienced in both private practice and hospital settings, with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions. She is fully trained in manual techniques, dry needling and clinical pilates.
Neda has an interest in women’s health and clinical pilates, exercise based rehabilitation and focuses on postural awareness and strengthening, to ease aches and pains. In her spare time, Neda loves swimming and keeping active through exercise.
Taruna Khanna
Taruna is a physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal and cardio-pulmonary physiotherapy. She graduated in 2004 and has over 10 years of experience. Taruna is trained in trigger point dry needling, clinical pilates and mobilisation techniques. She also works with the elderly in Aged Care facilities and retirement villages providing geriatric rehabilitation. She is keen on ongoing professional development through physiotherapy courses.
Taruna’s warm friendly personality is enjoyed by both her patients and her friends & colleagues.
Jim Dimitropoulos
Jim is a qualified Physiotherapist and Sports Physiotherapist with over 25 years experience. He has worked at many leading Sports centers and alongside Australia’s leading sports Physicians.
He has worked at the highest level with elite athletes, including at the Australian Institute of Sport, and has covered events including the Australian Open tennis, The Sydney Olympics, World Police and Fire Games, Australian Badminton Championships, and The National Soccer League.
Jim has extensive experience with all types of injuries, including necks, backs, shoulders, knees, ankle and workplace injuries.
Apart from being involved as a physio Jim has played many form of sport, at various levels, including soccer, tennis, squash, football, skiing and snowboarding, and bcycling.
In his spare time (when he has some, Jim also has 3 children) he enjoys photography.
Reception/Administration Staff
Part of the secret to our success at Health Dynamix, is due to the infrastructure which supports it. Our receptionists communicate easily with our patients, and enjoy making appointments, discussing our Pilates classes, or demonstrating our products, in a warm and friendly manner. They ensure a smooth transition from pilates assessments to pilates classes, term by term, throughout the year.
